It is no longer news that the General Elections in Nigeria has been postponed till the 25th of March.
Some of the reasons for the postponement, according to the government, is to enable eligible voters to collect thier PVCs Cpermanet voters card) from the embattled INEC.
Furthermore, the Government said it would also enable it deal with the issue of security, as the Nigerian Army, smarting from the new acquisitions of weapons, continue to record successes at various levels in the fight against the Boko Haram Insurgents.

NIGERIA ELECTORAL CHIEF ASK TO RESIGN AND BE ARRESTED
As the calls for the postponement of the forth coming general election in Nigeria, schedule for February 14th and 28 of this year, 2015, heightens, some eminent Nigerian elders and groups have added thier voices to further increase the pressure on the volatile situation.
The 'Strong Southern Nigeria Peoples Assembly (SNPA) has called for the resignation and arrest of the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega.
The leaders of the assembly made the call on the grounds of bias and conspiracy.
According to former vice president, Dr Alex Ekwueme, who was represented by former governor of Anambra State, Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Chief Edwin Clark, Dr Walter Ofonagoro and Chief Femi Okurounmu, who are leaders of the assembly, the INEC chairman should resign because he has lost the requisite moral rectitude to organise a credible election devoid of shenanigans of the Northern Elders Forum and their cohorts.
Senator Okurounmu who made the position of the assembly known to the media called for the immediate postponement of February 14 elections to allow for the re-constitution, re-positioning and re-processing of INEC to discharge its responsibility of conducting an impartial election.
In addition, the Assembly called for the immediate arrest of Jega for criminally masterminding the procurement of PVCs for underage pupils in contravention of the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic Nigeria (as amended) and the Electoral Act, 2010.
The Assembly said that if the federal government fails to take decisive action on the issue, it shall mobilise against any election in any part of Southern Nigeria.
Earlier, the Assembly said it discovered that Jega is in conspiracy with Northern Elders Forum with the sole desire of ensuring that the north has it way during the elections.
